Many people want to keep up with the growing trend of using solid products for their hair! So lovely and so good in every way. Read more here about the difference between shampoo soap and shampoo cake:
Shampoo soap
đ§ŒGood that you can use a soap for the whole body
đ§ŒBasic and gives a different feeling in the hair than regular shampoo. many love and prefer, some not.
đ§ŒFor many, scalp wound issues disappear and the moisture balance of the skin on the scalp can be regained.
đ§ŒWe at TvĂ„la & Tvaga start with soap, where the craftsmanship and history give a more solid product but raw materials that are original.
A soap that is also nice to wash your hair with, the oils in the soap will not weigh down and be easy to rinse out. A natural soap is in itself very mildly cleansing so for the scalp it is always super gentle compared to conventional products.
Another big advantage is that you can use the soap for your whole body, so-called multi-purpose soap. Good for you and the environment.
Some people may find it difficult to get into the habit of using soap in their hair, the soap can leave a small film on the hair and some people like it and others don't.
Shampokaka
đ§ŒEasy transition from liquid product
đ§ŒMinus that it is not so nice to lather the whole body with
đ§ŒMore modern product without the same craft history
đ§ŒPH becomes more similar to the hair strand and therefore feels more "clean" as when using liquid shampoos.
Consists of synthetically produced, usually very gentle surfactants.
The most common are Sodium Cocoyl Apple Amino Acids, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate and Lauryl Glucoside. All are derived from the fatty acid of an oil and together are mild cleansers. The surfactants are mixed together with extracts and pressed into cakes. Shampoo cake does not consist of saponified oils as shampoo soap does.Â
We usually say that a shampoo cake is more comparable to an organic liquid shampoo. It will feel just like a shampoo and can be a convenient first step into using solid product in your hair.Â
The raw materials are a little more processed, but this does not necessarily mean that they are inferior.
