Flors Honung - the honey and beeswax used for this soap is produced and made by Lars-Göran Floser on the farm Flors in Burs in southeast Gotland. For three generations of honey makers, the farm's hives and bees have collected nectar from the farm's fruit trees and lavender flowers from the garden. Even as a child, Lars-Göran was there when his grandfather threw honey. Now it is he himself, together with his 18 bee colonies, who work to produce the delicious ingredients that go into this soap. Lars-Göran has a great love for the craft and of course for the bees.
"It's important to "Bee Nice" and talk to the bees so they stay calm" - Lars-Göran about his bees
We are very happy to have had the chance to work with Flors Honung to make a soap with honey and beeswax. We wanted to create a soap with almost unreasonable amounts of beeswax and have therefore used it in both the base and the superfat. It is precisely in the overfat that we create a beeswax ointment that is gently stirred into the soap batter. The result is a crazy creamy and extremely skin caring soap. The honey, which like the beeswax, is of very high quality, adds sugars to the lather of the soap and adds a sweetness to the scent. The soap is based on cold-pressed rapeseed oil from Bohuslän, a really lovely raw material and also in line with our work to preserve Swedish biodiversity. We are very fond of how the honey-yellow mild lavender-scented soap seduces with its lather and leaves the skin very moisturized. Lather & Enjoy!
The soap is made in Tvåla & Tvaga's soap factory in Slakthuset, Gothenburg
