My first scent, for me incredibly obvious. I love when the sweet and sour of spearmint freshness is balanced by sharp eucalyptus. I have created a soap that refreshes and gives more flavor, incredibly lovely for the first shower of the day. It is delicious to use in the hair and gives it air and works well for sensitive scalp. I chose in Fantastic to grease my original recipe with dark green cold-pressed avocado oil, it is a bit of the secret to the soap is so good! Lively and really moisturizing!
I am enamored the scent of sweet sugary almonds, reminiscent of almond liqueur and marzipan. That's what I have tried to resemble here. The scent is soft and round as lovingly rewarding as the generous amount of sweet almond oil that is added. What is wonderful if not a really rich creamy soap? Lathering all over, Wonderful cleans very mildly.
I am fascinated by cardamom as a scent. One moment it feels minty and sharp, the other it feels warm and winter cozy. In this soap I think cardamom really comes into its own in this soap, energizing and warming. Lovely is a scrub soap and it is ground cardamom that does the job. I have deliberately made it really scratchy to let new fresh skin see the light. Freshly scrubbed skin needs extra care and I chose sweet almond oil as extra lubrication.
Vetiver essential oil makes me really happy. I think the scent is so beautiful and complex at the same time, so when I decided to make Fabulous with vetiver, it took me two years of lab work before I was satisfied. Balancing vetiver is an art an art and I have done it with strong atlas cedar oil and some amyris bark oil. The result is a soap with a dry woody tone that blooms in the heat of the shower and the horny, slightly heavier tone of the vetiver grass can be sensed. I have overfatted Fabulous with exclusive rosehip seed oil, which makes it really really oily and nourishing. The lather is dense and compact, thanks to the kaolin clay, which I think is suitable for shaving.
I longed for a freshly scented soap in my series, so good that you just can't resist it. After a while of thinking about it, I decided that the freshest and most rewarding of all scents must be coriander and lime. The essential oil of coriander seed is sweet, green and really delicious, when it meets the vibrant freshness of lime, magic happens. The well-balanced scent makes your mouth water and your skin does happy waves from all the energy the essential oils bring. Magnifik is made from my original recipe, packed with beneficial premium oils, and the soap is also enriched with shea butter. The soap is absolutely magnificent to use for the hair and gives softness to dry hair and scalp. A real favorite!
My tribute to the dear neighborhood where my journey with Tvåla&Tvaga started in 2011. When I created the Haga soap, the lilacs were blooming opposite the shop and it was an obvious choice in my creation. To balance the weight of the lilacs and reflect another fresh and exciting side of Haga, I included lemongrass, which with its bitter citrusy tone makes the scent complete in my world. The soap is made from olive oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter, a recipe I developed to provide maximum moisturization and a rich lather. A soap that I really think brings the idea of early summer!
So simple, so good. A soap made from olive oil alone must be the the most classic thing in our soap world? I couldn't resist creating my version! My Prima olive is made from first class organic cold pressed olive oil and in addition I overfat it heavily with the same oil. The result is a really greasy soap, and soap on olive oil is always mild and nice. The soap is meant to be suitable for the whole body and even for the most sensitive. I Prima Oliv I have not added any fragrance but still I am amazed at how good it smells! The scent of unscented soap can be the sweetest thing. Enjoy it!
I wanted to push the boundaries of how greasy a soap can really be and created Prima Oliv with shea. It's for anyone who can't tolerate anything and for anyone who simply likes a really greasy soap. In addition to wonderful olive oil, I have cold-pressed shea butter, which with its incredibly nutritious content, lubricates your skin and washes it delicately. Use the soap for the whole body and enjoy the pure unscented scent, which in my opinion is sometimes the best.
Dreamy
I worked on the start of Drömsk for 1.5 years, it was then called Ljuvlig. I was honestly not satisfied and labbed with the balance between lavender and patchouli but never reached what I decided was just lovely. What I did know for sure was that the over-greasing would be macadamia nut oil which gives an irresistible velvety lather. So one night I dream I'm making soap, and I see myself mixing lavender with patchouli like so many times before. Then the magic happens, I reach for another bottle of essential oil and it says ylang ylang. Genius! I wake up and make a note of the amount and then once at work in reality test the mixture and yes, there it sits perfectly. The round heavy sweetness of the ylang ylang binds the smoky and herbal in a beautiful way in my opinion. Of course, the name was changed in the same second to Dreamy.
Lather and enjoy! /Anna, soap maker
